PostSubject: Sparring & Hunting Guide   Tue Apr 05, 2016 10:47 am

Things can get confusing on large sites like this one, with all the sparring and hunting rules we don't want everyone's characters to be overly athletic and power-play. So here is a little guide that will hopefully help out with all of your hunting and sparring needs!

The Basics
Hunting is pretty easy when it comes to smaller game such as hare and other many rodents therefor we don't require you to abide by any specific rules for those smaller animals. However when it comes to big game hunting such as elk, buck, and deer there are a few particular things you will need to know.

All NPC start off with 100% heath unless the Game Master or the person playing the NPC states otherwise. You will know whether or not the NPC is damaged or is at full health, simply because the Game Master will state it at the end of every post.

An example would be something likes this:

Post Here
_______________________
Atttack: Charges towards pack of canines
Defense:  Antlers Lowered Shaking Wildly
Injuries: Major wounds to back right flank and butt-ox.
Total Health: 32%

Pretty simple right?
Although this seems simple enough we don't want you power-playing, all hits may not be critical so we ask when sparring or hunting you word your attacks like this: Guest charged towards the older male hoping to aim an attack upon his right shoulder, jowls opened wide ready to latch onto what ever piece of flesh they could grab a hold to. It is simply up to the character owner to decide whether or not the attack is critical, but please keep in mind your character cannot dodge every single attack that the opponent throws at them. An admin has the right to call a spar or fight, spar are useually used when competing for ranks. We ask that if you ever challenge a pack member for a rank that you word your topic title like this "Rank Challenge - Elite Spencer" and post it in your prospective packs clearing. The Elite MUST be present for the spar but only has to post once, that is unless they decide to call the fight.

Spars usually have three rounds, when starting the topic you cannot just jump right into the fighting. Your character must call upon the canine that they are challenging before the spar can begin, once the member responds you may start.

We ask that all members use this special code when sparring, as it does help RP move a lot smoother and lets your opponent and the admins understand your attacks more efficiently.

Sparring Code

Code:
[b]Attack:[/b]
[b]Defense:[/b]
[b]Injuries:[/b]
b]Total Health:[/b]

Thank you, and we hope this guide helped you!
